About EHS
Lori Frerk

Dear Parents:

I am truly honored to be the principal of East High School that has such rich history and tradition. I understand that I am only a small part of this history and will respect the values that our families cherish about East High. Students, parents, and staff have pride and a strong sense of service to the characteristics of this school that have been its hallmarks for over 150 years.

East High School serves a diverse population of students, which we consider to be one of our many assets. We are a strong student-centered and hardworking school that works collaboratively to provide students with opportunities to excel at higher level thinking skills in and out of the classroom. Our academic and co-curricular offerings allow students many opportunities to expand their own interests, abilities, and aspirations. With the help of our staff, students will be provided with avenues to be College, Career, and Community ready.

Being valued and belonging is part of the human experience that staff and students experience and value here at East High. We do not follow the “one size fits all” mentality. Each individual has value and should be valued and respected. Relationship building has always been an important element of the East High tradition. I want each individual that comes through the doors of East High school to know that they matter and that we are here to help them reach their full potential.

East High School has a lot to offer and I would love for you to experience this yourself. I encourage you to visit us to see the great work that our students and staff are doing. Please contact me at (920) 448-2090 or e-mail me at lafrerk@gbaps.org to schedule a visit.
