FBLA Students Qualify for NationalsGreen Bay East Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members recently traveled to La Crosse, WI to compete at the State Leadership Conference. The two day conference had workshops and tours for members to attend to increase their business knowledge as well as over 60 competitive events in business.

Members in attendance were able to hear from keynote speaker Kyle Scheele who shows students how their lives will be defined by the things they do. While at the conference members were able to make connections with business leaders while touring local companies such as UW LaCrosse, WKBT, and River State Truck, to name a few.

In order to qualify for FBLA state students had to finish in the top 3 in their respective event at regional competition. Students who place in the top four of their event at state competition earn the right to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA this summer. Three students from East High School qualified for nationals this year. They include:

Rebecca Schelk - 4th place in the Computer Applications event
Logan Green - 2nd place in Spreadsheets
Nathan Kohls - 1st place in Healthcare Administration
