Why Choose East?
We serve a diverse population of students, which we consider to be one of our many assets. We strive to provide students with opportunities to excel at higher level thinking in and out of the classroom.
Our many academic and co-curricular offerings allow students to expand their own interests, abilities and aspirations. We provide students many avenues to be college, career and community ready.
We are home to the
Fine Arts Institute at East High
, which allows students to study music, visual arts, literary arts and theatre arts under master teachers and artists. Students develop an artistic portfolio and can earn academic credit for their private and independent study in the arts.
We are proud to house the
City Stadium Automotive
program, which enables students to focus on the diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults in automotive systems while receiving high school and college credit through NWTC. East High is one of only 14 high schools in WI to be certified by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation for Maintenance and Light Repair Program Standards.

Parent Testimonial
“My daughter’s math teacher called her last week when she was missing for almost two weeks to let her know that she is an excellent student and that she was missed. He also has spent all week helping her catch up on what she missed and has made her feel truly appreciated as a student. This effort means the world to me as a mother who can use any support out there to keep her focused on the benefits of a good education. I am an East High graduate and know that this school is amazing and I have made the right choice by sending her there.”
