On-Line Work Permit Instructions
The school District no longer has access to do work permits. The Department of Workforce Development's Equal Rights Division has developed an online work permit application tool. A parent can access the site here.
Payment is made directly to the department through the application, using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the Department mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Department of Workforce Development's Equal Rights Division at workpermits@dwd.wisconsin.gov.
Worker's Permits may also be obtained at:
Brown County Clerk's Office
305 E. Walnut Street
Room #120; (920)448-4016
