Girls Basketball: There are open gyms happening on the following dates: TODAY, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 from 6:45 pm-8:15 pm

 

The PSAT/NMSQT is an optional exam offered to all 10th and 11th grade students in the district and will take place on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021 at Green Bay EAST High School. The cost of the exam is $20. There is a limited number of exams, so we recommend that interested students register as soon as possible. Registrations will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. Online exam registration will end on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. In order to register please check your student email account for details about the test and the registration link! See Ms. Kong in the Career Center with questions!

 

Students: Do you remember what last happened 570 days ago? That's the last time the school store has been open at East high! And now the time has come, the Devil's Den is back open for business. Stop down before school to buy yourself a drink or a snack. Can't wait to see you there!

 

Are you thinking about enrolling in the Fine Arts Institute but need more information?  Now is the opportunity for you and a parent or guardian to get all the answers you need!  An informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 5th from 6-7pm in the auditorium where you will be able to learn all about the Institute!  Please see the flyer for more information. Calling all Dancers!  East High and the Fine Arts Institute are  excited to announce that a new Dance program is beginning here!  All you have to do is see your school counselor and get signed up now!  Classes begin Trimester 2!  Don't wait-sign up today!  For more details, see Mrs. Roberts in the Fine Arts office or this flyer.

 

Picture day/retake day is October 7th.  Any student who paid for retakes or any student who has not had their picture taken by Ambrosius studios will need to be here on October 7th. This is the last day to have your picture taken.


School Newspaper: the school newspaper needs you to report on current events and experiences around the school. We need journalists, photographers, and tech-savvy individuals to spread the word about what's going on at East High! New this year, the school newspaper will also be managing social media! If you are interested in joining our team, please attend our first meeting on Wednesday, October 6th at 7:00am in room 306. We know it's early, but we have donuts! If you have questions, see Mrs. Van Ess in room 306 or Mrs. Carlson in room 323.


Attention FBLA Members: If you missed the Future Business Leaders of America meeting Thursday morning please visit our website at greenbayeastfbla.org to find out what you missed. If you are not an FBLA member and still want to join please see Mr. Christy ASAP. The final roster will be submitted next week on Friday. There will be no additions to the roster after next Friday.

 

All NEW Scholars grades 9-12 will have programming on Monday, October 4th right after school. Be prompt and meet at the main entrance and look for the coach bus that will take students to NWTC! Drop off time is at 5:30pm. Contact Ms. Amanda Garcia with any questions.

 

Seniors - the Senior Class photo will be THIS Friday during HomeBase.. Weather permitting, the photo will be taken in the stadium seating. Please remember to wear your senior shirts or school colors. 

 

There will be a Yearbook meeting this Thursday, Oct. 7, at 7 am in room 300. If you are interested in photography, layout, marketing of the book, or just love talking to people, our club is for YOU! Please see Ms. Altman if you are not able to attend the meeting but are still interested in joining.

 

Attention all students who are in SASS or who are interested in joining SASS:  We will be meeting in the Career Center after school tomorrow.  Even if you were not able to attend the training, please attend this meeting!

 

Library: Friday's Banned Books prize winner was Kylie Kinjerski. The answer was Pennsylvania. Stop in the library to pick up your splendid socks!
