It Pays To Be On Time:  Our winner for yesterday is sophomore Kelian Mendez.  All she had to do was make it to class on time yesterday, her name was drawn, and now she gets to come collect a $10 gift card in attendance.  Be on time every day and your name might be drawn next!

Girls Basketball: There are open gyms happening on the following dates: 10/11, 10/18, 10/25 from 6:45 pm-8:15 pm

38% of the American population is able, yet only a meager 10% actually donate blood, according to the American Red Cross.  Let’s raise that percent by donating blood!  The East FFA is hosting their annual Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 13th, from 8 - 2:30. If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Summer McCracken!  Again: Donate blood, October 13th , save all the lives!  Thank you!

Aspiring journalists and photographers: If you missed our first school newspaper meeting but still want to join, it's not too late. Just come to our next meeting, Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. in Room 306. There, we will begin planning and assigning our first issue. If you have any questions, pop in and see Mrs. Carlson (Room 323) or Mrs. Van Ess (Room 306)--or just shoot them an email  ([email protected] or [email protected]).

As we begin our day, we acknowledge and honor the original inhabitants of our various nations of Wisconsin. As we currently reside on the traditional unceded territory of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, and the Ho-Chunk Nation, we acknowledge these nations, people, and communities both past and present, as well as future generations. This acknowledgement demonstrates our sustained commitment to building authentic relationships and coalitions with all members of these Nations and communities.
