It Pays To Be On Time - We have our first freshman winner of the month - Ellawyn Buss.  Ellawyn was on time to all of her classes yesterday, so she can come on down to the attendance office and pick out a $10 gift card.  Be on time for all of your classes and you might win tomorrow!


Green Bay Police Cadets: If you are the age of 14-20 and interested in becoming a Police Cadet the Green Bay Police Department is having an open house on October 14th at 6:00pm. Parents and participants must attend.


The GBAPS Support Center is here to help you!  There is a team of teachers in the areas of math (secondary and elementary), English Language Arts (secondary and elementary), secondary science, and technical assistance, who are available to assist students after school hours.  Monday -Thursday: 4:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday 4:00 - 6:30 pm. Just call 920-272-7433, email [email protected], or text 920-309-5985 to receive 1-on-1 support.  Teachers will send you a Zoom link to your school email address once your request is received.  Turning on your camera is optional

 

Attention all boys interested in playing basketball this year!   You must stop by Coach Rosinski's room (230) to pick up meeting information.  If you do not, you will not be able to play this year.


Worried about COVID-19 safety while donating blood?  The student helpers & Community Blood Center staff follow strict safety plans set by our school district & the state health department.  With that peace of mind, the East FFA invites you to their annual Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 13th, from 8 - 2:30.  If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Summer McCracken!  Again: Donate blood, October 13th, save all the lives!  Thank you!


Math Team: Our next math competition will be Monday October 18th.  We will start at 5:30 pm in the LMC.  Anyone interested in participating can sign up with their math teacher or can contact Mr. Garay or Mr. Quinn.

Oh no! Did you miss the last DECA meeting? Don't worry, it's not too late. DECA is meeting again tonight after school at 3:05 in room 224. Get involved, come check it out!

 

HOSA: We are having a meeting today Oct 12th after school from 3:05-3:40. We will be having a guest speaker from Odd Fellow to talk about job openings and training opportunities. We will also touch base on the Fall Leadership Conference which is next week Oct 20th and 21st. Please join us! 

 

Anyone interested in wrestling for the Green Bay United Wrestling Team there will be a short informational meeting on Wednesday, October 20th in the Upper Gym at 3:15 after school.  If you can’t make the meeting but are interested in wrestling please see Mr. Arbour or Ms. Mathu.

Update!  All blood drive spots are full BUT a wait-list has been created!  If you still want to donate, consider putting your name on the wait-list printed in the main office.  If there are "no-shows" or time openings, we'll contact you from the list & provide a pass back to class.

ATTENTION FBLA MEMBERS: We have an important meeting Thursday morning at 7am this week. All current FBLA members need to attend this meeting. Yes, there will be donuts.
