I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Library: The library is celebrating International Games Week. Did you know that you can learn to play Backgammon, Mancala, Cribbage, or Chess in the library?  There's an entire closet full of games in the library! This week, you can answer the daily trivia question. For each correct answer, your name will be entered in a drawing for a game of Uno on Friday.  Yesterday's answer was 40 levels.

Here's today's question: How many days did the longest Monopoly game last?

As we begin our day, we acknowledge and honor the original inhabitants of our various nations of Wisconsin. As we currently reside on the traditional unceded territory of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, and the Ho-Chunk Nation, we acknowledge these nations, people, and communities both past and present, as well as future generations. This acknowledgement demonstrates our sustained commitment to building authentic relationships and coalitions with all members of these Nations and communities.

Word of the Day: Truncate, verb, to shorten by or as if by cutting off
