Fruit Sale: Student A: I hate it when the days get shorter

Student B: Yeah, that is why I get a taste of sunshine

Student A: What do you mean?

Student B: I get navel oranges from the Music department fruit sale! Each bit of every orange is a taste of sunshine, and if you like to get your sunshine differently, they sell apples, grapefruit, pineapple and more. It gets even better! The sale also raises money for East’s Music department.

Student A: Great idea!

Student B So order some fruit from the music department students.

Student A: All music students, get your fruit sale forms. Teacher will hand out fruit sale forms today in class. Remember to get yours! If you have every other day class and don’t have class until tomorrow, make sure you get a fruit sale form today or tomorrow from your teacher

Student B: Sale begins today. Forms and money are due Tuesday, November 30th. Fruit is picked up Tuesday, December 14th. Order your own taste of sunshine now.

This acknowledgement demonstrates our sustained commitment to building authentic relationships and coalitions with all members of these Nations and communities.
