Day 1

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Attention SENIORS ~ your senior photos are due to Ms. Altman for the yearbook by March 4. This may sound light years away, but it is a mere FIVE months away. If you have your photos done, email your chosen photo today! Requirements: headshot preferred, no hats or inappropriate clothing, you MUST be wearing clothes, no weapons, and we must be able to see your face (no over the shoulder looks).

Final exams are next week.  Need a place to study? Come study and prepare yourself for final exams.  We will provide the snacks.

Caw, caw! The Green Bay East FFA has a fundraiser drive for the Wisconsin Humane Society, Green Bay Campus from now until the 19th! There are animal supply donation boxes and jars in the main office and room 153. If you have any questions ask Summer McCracken or your East FFA officer team..

Seniors: December 8th our cap and gown representative will be here during lunch hours. Cost of the cap and gown is $30.00. Attached is the flyer that also has other order options on it.

Congratulations to the East orchestra students for a successful first concert last night! This morning's Symphonic Orchestra class will meet in the choir room, right next door to the band/orchestra room. Students do not need to bring their instrument to class today.

Students for Social Justice: Do you ever feel like it is easy to forget to be thankful, especially during stressful times? Take a break tomorrow after school and join Students for Social Justice in the library. We will be celebrating World Kindness Day by writing Thank You notes for people who have helped and inspired us.

Book Club: Book Club meets today during both lunch hours. Please bring your copy of George

As we begin our day, we acknowledge and honor the original inhabitants of our various nations of Wisconsin. As we currently reside on the traditional unceded territory of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, and the Ho-Chunk Nation, we acknowledge these nations, people, and communities both past and present, as well as future generations. This acknowledgement demonstrates our sustained commitment to building authentic relationships and coalitions with all members of these Nations and communities.

Word of the Day: Negotiate, verb, to deal with or bring about through discussion or compromise. It also means, for people and things in motion, to get through, around, or over successfully.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a yummy National Homemade Bread Day and a fantastic learning day
