Day 2

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

ASVAB Testing on December 7,2021 at 7:30 am in the Career Center. If you would like to take the test please see Ms. Kong in the Career Center!

Guau, guau! This is your last day to donate to the fundraiser drive benefiting the Wisconsin Humane Society, Green Bay Campus! You can donate in the main office and room 153. If you have any questions ask Summer McCracken or your East FFA officer team.

Seniors: December 8th our cap and gown representative will be here during lunch hours. Cost of the cap and gown is $30.00. Attached is the flyer that also has other order options on it.

RDP stands for Red Devil Pride!  Just a reminder that this trimester you will earn a special RDP celebration if you meet two criteria:   You need to have NO major referrals and pass all your classes. The celebration will be held December 22nd.   So work hard to complete missing work and good luck on your final exams next week!

Performance Technologies Club members-NO meeting on Monday, November 22nd.  We'll reconvene on Monday, November 29th.

Book Club: Did you ever see the movie Knives Out, a fast paced mystery with some humor and romance? Our current Book Club book Inheritance Games has a similar storyline. Avery Grambs inherited billions--yes, billions--from someone in Texas she never met. Why would Tobias Hawthorne leave billions to a stranger when his family received nearly nothing? If you love puzzles, you should stop in the library today and check out a copy of Inheritance Games. We meet on December 22.

Students for Social Justice: Please check the Google Classroom for updates. Stop in the library if you missed yesterday's meeting.

As we begin our day, we acknowledge and honor the original inhabitants of our various nations of Wisconsin. As we currently reside on the traditional unceded territory of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, and the Ho-Chunk Nation, we acknowledge these nations, people, and communities both past and present, as well as future generations. This acknowledgement demonstrates our sustained commitment to building authentic relationships and coalitions with all members of these Nations and communities.

Word of the Day: Draconian, cruel or severe. Usually used to describe harsh laws, rules, or regulations.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a playful National Play Monopoly Day and a great learning day
