Day 2


Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


The GBAPS Support Center is here to help you!  There is a team of teachers in the areas of math (secondary and elementary), English Language Arts (secondary and elementary), secondary science, and technical assistance, who are available to assist students after school hours.  Monday -Thursday: 4:00 - 8:00 pm and Friday 4:00 - 6:30 pm. Just call 920-272-7433, email [email protected], or text 920-309-5985 to receive 1-on-1 support.  Teachers will send you a Zoom link to your school email address once your request is received.  Turning on your camera is optional.


ASVAB Testing on December 7,2021 at 7:30 am in the Career Center. If you would like to take the test please see Ms. Kong in the Career Center!


All good things must come to an end! Yes, the Music Department Fruit sale ends tomorrow, Wednesday, December 1st.. But that means everyone still has one last chance to order fruit!. Talk to a music department person before your chance is gone!

ALSO, music department students: Turn in your fruit form with money tomorrow. Bring to your music class. Music parents will be in the music wing between 8am and 3:30pm to collect your forms and payment.


Attention Students: Did you knock it out of the park on exams last week and want to treat yourself? Did you oversleep on Black Friday and miss all the deals? Do you still need to buy your boyfriend/girlfriend/sister/brother a Christmas gift? Whatever the case, the Devil's Den school store has your back. We have just received a big shipment of EHS apparel that is ready to get into your hands. Stop down to the school store before school to buy your gear. More items arriving next week too! Attention former, present and future chemistry students. The time has come to complete the Periodic Table of the Elements mural in the Science wing. Those who participate, can earn volunteer hours and have fun at the same time. No experience is necessary. A meeting will be held Thursday, December 2 at 3:10 in room 212 for all those interested. Please contact Mr. Arts if you are unable to make the meeting.

 

Did you know that poinsettias are also called “lobster flowers” for their fiery red color?  If you gift a lobster flower for Christmas, that must make you Santa “Claws”!  The Poinsettia Sale will take place in the East Greenhouse Friday, December third and tenth from 3-6 pm. and Saturday, December fourth and eleventh from 10 am. - 2 pm.  A large, two plant arrangement of red and white poinsettias are fourteen dollars each and a one plant poinsettias are seven dollars each.  Again: Poinsettias, this Friday after school & Saturday from 10 until 2, at the greenhouse!

 

Library: The library is open for study hall beginning tomorrow. Please return any overdue library books and textbooks this week.
