Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Student A: I can't believe it! The fruit sale orders are here! The delicious music department fruit has finally arrived!
Student B: Yes, I am really looking forward to that first bite of an orange.
Student A: Fruit sale orders must be picked up today, after school until 5pm, in the music wing. You heard right! Pick up your fruit orders today.
Retro jerseys are on sale now for $25 in room 230. Red, white or black. Come get your jersey for the game.
Attention Juniors: Do you want to gain valuable career experience during your senior year? Do you want to earn high school and college credits while working in a challenging job? Would you like to get PAID while you’re learning??? Then you should sign up for the Senior Business Internship program. The ideal candidate would be an outgoing individual who wants to earn high school credit, gain real-world work experience and get paid for working at a challenging job during their senior year. Do you think that you have what it takes? Then see Mr. Christy in room 222 for more information. Space is limited to the first 15 qualified applicants so if you’re interested you need to see Mr. Christy ASAP.
Our first Red Devil Pride celebration will be next Wednesday, December 22nd during 5th period. Students who passed all of their classes in the first trimester and don’t have any major behavior referrals will be invited to the cafeteria during 5th period for an ice cream treat. Our celebrations happen each trimester, so put in the work this trimester if you didn’t make it during tri one.
Hey East, Do you want to help out your fellow students and win gift cards of up to $25? If so, the Eats for East pantry is in need of certain products. For each boxed cereal, box of granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce or cooking oils. For each item you bring to your home base teacher they will enter you into the drawing. Literary Arts Strand Students: We will postpone writing workshop to next Tuesday, December 21st after school. We will meet in the LMC. We will still have a writing session this Wednesday, the 15th in the LMC. Check your email for further details.
Holiday Concert: The East High Music Department presents a "Razzle Dazzle Holiday Concert" next week Monday, December 20th at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Chamber Singers will be performing a concert of winter and holiday music - admission if free. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend!
