Day 2

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Please congratulate Lydia Munchoff for her 3rd place finish at the District 4 DECA competition this past Saturday. Lydia also earned a medal for her cluster exam in addition to the 3rd place overall finish in the Business Finance event. Way to go Lydia!

The Army will be in the cafe for a visit on January 13,2022 during the lunch hours.

The ASVAB test will be given February 17, 2022 to juniors and seniors.  The ASVAB Career Exploration Program helps students learn about themselves and the world of work.  Along with testing verbal and math skills, the ASVAB also tests electronics, auto and shop, mechanical comprehension abilities, and includes a career interest inventory.  It is a great way to prepare for the ACT exam or to discover your interests.  A military enlistment score is available, but only if you desire to use it.  An educator will sit down with the students to interpret their results.  There is no cost to participate.  Sign up in the Career Center by February 11, 2022

Seniors: This is a reminder that if you did not order your cap and gown you can do so in the office or order through the representative on Wednesday Jan. 12th he will be near the cafeteria. There is an online link as well in the flyer attached here.

If you need a winter coat please go to student services and ask to see a social worker. Remember that the Caring Closet is here to help you with your basic needs.
