Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

All Fine Arts Institute Music students: please report to the auditorium tomorrow at the start of Home Base for a brief meeting with Mrs. Tjoflat and Mrs. Roberts.  This is a required meeting.

Attention to all who have signed up for our blood drive: Wednesday’s blood drive comes at a time when the blood supply is dangerously low,  so thank you donors!  There are still many open slots to schedule ahead.  Walk-ins will be welcome during any open time. Students, just so you know, you will receive 2 volunteer hours for donating. 1 for you and 1 for the life you are helping to save. There will be a schedule posted outside the office for you to double check your donation time. Donors please come to the lobby at your appointment time with your student ID and if you’re 16 – our parent permission slip.  If you’ve handed it in already, thank you. The drive will be on a mobile bus right outside the entrance. Be sure to eat a solid breakfast and if you haven’t on the day of the drive stop into the lobby area and grab something beforehand  - anytime. Be sure to be hydrated!  Water bottles will be available in the lobby as well. Your one donation will help to save up to 3 lives of patients right here in our area!

Work on the Periodic Table mural will resume tonight and continue Tuesday through Thursday until it is completed. Please come to room 212 after school if you are interested

Attention Seniors: If you are interested in designing the Graduation Program Cover please see the flyer attached for more information. Winner will receive a free cap and gown.

Word of the day: Quip, noun, is a clever remark or a witty or funny observation or response.
