Day 2

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Attention Seniors: If you are interested in designing the Graduation Program Cover please see the flyer attached for more information. Winner will receive a free cap and gown.

Attention all Juniors: All juniors are welcome to attend an informational Junior Prom dance meeting NEXT WEEK on Tuesday, February 1st in Room 242 during the lunch hours. The same information will be distributed/shared, so you only need to attend during your assigned lunch period. Mrs. DeJardin will share pertinent information, plus there will be a chance to sign up to join a planning committee, if interested!

Silent Night is Saturday January 29 at West High School. Girls tip off at 2:00pm and Boys are at 4:00pm. Students must bring their school ID admission is $2.00 for students and $4.00 for adults or you can bring 4 non-perishable food items or 4 hygiene items.

Students for Social Justice: Students for Social Justice meets today after school in the library. Everyone is welcome. See Ms. Ollmann if you have questions.

Word of the day: Ziggurat, noun, is an ancient Mesopotamian temple that resembles a pyramid having successive stages with outside staircases and a shrine at the top. The word is used figuratively for any structure having stages or steps.
