Congratulations to the following AVID students:  Jennifer Soto Cortez, Uriel Alvarez, Henry Page, and Uriel Guerrero Trujillo   . These 4 individuals have gone above and beyond during the month of February and have been selected as the AVID student of the month for February.  They have all been excellent role models in the AVID elective class and have also worked incredibly hard outside the classroom. If you see them in class, please congratulate them.

Interest in weldingFincantieri has career opportunities in their three shipyards. Come to learn about them in the Career Center on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9 am!

Students: It has come to the school's attention that students are posting unkind posts in regards to students wearing or not wearing masks on social media. These social media posts are degrading us as human beings and we would hope that the "jokes" and rude comments will stop. As a school we try to be a team/family that strives for the same goal, however this type of behavior is not the conduct that shows our Red Devil Pride.  All of this can be considered harassment or degrading of a person's character. Please know that you may be upsetting more individuals than you realize with these types of posts. We implore you to stop these types of posts and be a positive change in the world.

Library: Please return any overdue library books to the library this week. Also, return any textbooks that you are finished using. Stop in the library if you have questions.

Word of the Day: Prosaic, adjective, is a synonym of dull, unimaginative, everyday, or ordinary, but its original meaning is “characteristic of prose as distinguished from poetry.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a amazing Fat Tuesday and a great learning day.
