Day 1

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) meets every Wednesday from 3:15-4:15 in room 301. If you are interested, walk on up to the third floor! If you have any other questions, please email Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Amschler.

Attention Seniors: If you are attending or interested in attending UWGB there is a  virtual informational session April 14 from 5pm-6pm. Please see this attached flyer for more information.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main office from now until April 21.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, which is also linked on the virtual announcements, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart.

Wow, you’re actually reading the announcements on an asynchronous day? Props to you. You should go to the AP Fair presentation tomorrow, the last one of the year! Whether you’re considering taking AP Biology or just Bio, or if you just want a fun activity during home base! The topic will be genetics, and Ms. Scheunemann will go over some of the experiments covered in class.

Today we acknowledge that we are located on land and water that is the current and ancestral homeland of the Menominee Indian Nation, the Ho-Chunk Nation and home of the Oneida Nation. We honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous spiritual and physical caretakers of this land who have retained tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, and cultural resilience. We uphold our responsibility to repair relationships, initiate partnerships, and stand with members of these and all First Nations.

Word of the Day: Grift, verb, to obtain money illicitly

These have been your morning announcements

Have a great National Caramel Popcorn Day and an amazing learning day
