Day 1


Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Attention Seniors: If you are attending or interested in attending UWGB there is a  virtual informational session April 14 from 5pm-6pm. Please see this attached flyer for more information.


Do you want to get involved in the decision making process for high school students? Do you want to work with the school board for changes to district policy? If you said yes then Intra City Student Council may be for you. Please check for an email from Mr. VandenHouten or click on the online announcements. 

 

Have you taken an Agriscience class this year, between March 2021 through March 2022? Then your Green Bay East FFA chapter has a cash award application for you!  By submitting your Supervised Agricultural Experience (or SAE) Portfolio done in Agriscience class, you can apply for awards through the FFA.  Top placing applications have the potential for a cash award, thanks to generous community support from the FFA Alumni.  Just go to “B” “I” “T” period “L” “Y” forward slash “east” “s” “a” “e” & complete the quick Google Form application.  You have until Friday, April 15, to apply!  Remember: “east” “sae” as one word lowercase, or see Mr. Mark-cart for more information.

 

Seniors if you did not take the 1 question lock-in survey that is in your email please log in and do so now. Survey is due by 4/12/22.

 

On Friday, the Forensics team competed in Madison for the state competition. Please congratulate the following students on their accomplishments: Erick Brito Acevedo Silver Medal, Leif Delfosse- Silver Medal, Jennifer Duarte Castillo- Gold Medal, Rubi Guzman-Gonzales- Silver, Medal Kayla MIller- Gold Medal. THANKS FOR A GREAT SEASON. We will miss you next year, Kayla!

 

Book Club: Book Club meets this Wednesday during both lunch hours to discuss Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. Please bring your copy of the book to the meeting. There will be treats!

 

Students for Social Justice: Students for Social Justice will not be meeting this week.
