Day 1


Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Attention Students: If you enjoy drawing or designing Newcap has an opportunity to Design a Mural that will be painted on the wall of the Center for Youth.  Please see the flyer here for more information. Submissions are due by May 23, 2022.

 

Attention all girls interested in playing golf next fall.  There is a sign-up form in the main office and join our Google Classroom code s46qeat for more information.  

 

Spring Concert: The Spring Choir Concert is tonight at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. Admission is free to attend this great program of music - students and faculty are invited to attend!  

 

Hello from the Art Department: If you are an art student that had work in a display case or in the art show last week, it is now available and ready for pick-up.  Please stop into the art room right after school (between 3-3:15) any day this week to pick up your artwork.  It is a very busy time of year, don't forget your art!! ART!!!! Say it with me: ART!!!!

 

Seniors: If you have not yet picked up your cap and gown please come to the main office ASAP.

 

Frozen:  The Performing Arts Center in Appleton is offering "student rush" tickets for performances of Frozen. Students, with school ID, can purchase a $25 ticket at the ticket office, one hour before the performance. Call the PAC to check availability - 920-730-3760.  Cash or card accepted.   

 

Newsies: The Broadway Musical:  Sign-up continues for the musical theatre production of Newsies!  Fill in the google form, and then check details in Google classroom for information!  Great roles and jobs in the pit orchestra, technical teams, on-stage performers, costume, make-up, hair design, publicity, hospitality, and more!  Here's the link -- Newsies Sign-Up Form

 



Library: The cake and photo for any student who attended a Book Club meeting in the last four years will take place during Home Base right after announcements on Thursday. Please check your email for a Google survey from Ms. Ollmann.

 

Book Club: Book Club meets today to discuss Very Bad People. We will meet for our 100th book during both lunch hours. The Zoom meeting with the author is at noon.

 

Students for Social Justice: Our last meeting is tomorrow after school. 


Fine Arts Institute students: Please stop by Mrs. Robert's office today or tomorrow and pick up your year end certificate.  Seniors will also receive their Fine Arts Institute graduation cords!  See you soon!
