Day 2

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

It's finals time again!  Once again Link Crew and NHS will sponsor a study-a-thon on Monday, June 6th from 3 pm to 5 pm. Snacks will be provided!

Do you think you can fish?  Time to put your skills on display. The 30th annual Green Bay East Fishing Tournament will take place this Saturday from 8 - 11 am at the East River Bridge. We will be fishing for bragging rights and some awesome prizes. This is the WI free fishing weekend so you won't need a license. Don't worry if you have never fished before because we will show you how. Loaner equipment will be available for you to use.  Join us for a morning of fun. Contact Mr. Fisk in room 227 ([email protected]) if you plan to attend

Newsies:  Auditions for cast - singers, dancers, actors - are still going on! Available times today at 3:15 and Monday at 3:30. Complete the form at this link: Newsies and then sign up for a time. More details in the musical google classroom.

Musical Sign-Up: Students planning to be a part of the Newsies Pit Orchestra, Tech Crew, Backstage Team Costume or Make-Up Crew, or help with publicity and hospitality - please complete the sign-up form by Monday, June 6th. Use the link or QR codes in posters.

Any students interested in doing Momentous Sports through the YMCA please see this flyer.

Library: Today is the last day the library is open for study hall. During Final Exams, the library will be a quiet study space. This is a reminder that all library books and textbooks need to be returned before you leave for the summer.

Did you make an art project--a poster or pin--for the Students Rebuild Challenge? If you made artwork, it is displayed at the blue bulletin board in the library, and you can take your art poster or pin home or give it to a friend. We raised $780! Great work, Red Devils!

Attention students: Today during 1st lunch will be the last root beer float sale of the year outside of the cafeteria. Stop by and get a sweet treat for $2 to help the freshmen class!

Word of the Day: Perfunctory, adjective, to describe something that is done without energy or enthusiasm, as a duty or out of habit.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a wonderful National Doughnut Day and a fantastic learning day
