Day 1

Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

This is a great opportunity to be a part of an engaging and high spirited dance team. For more information stop by the dance room or email Mr.Esrom with any questions. Your Green Bay East FFA Chapter is hosting a Fall Picnic Thursday, September 15th, after school until 5 pm.  Come outside to the greenhouse for free food, good company, & to hear about first trimester FFA volunteer opportunities!  To reserve your free spot, just go to “B” “I” “T” period “L” “Y” forward slash “f” “f” “a” “picnic” & complete the quick Google Form.  This way, we plan for enough food.  Again: you, food, Thursday the 15th, reserve online “bit.ly/ffapicnic” as one word lowercase

Are you interested in a career in data analytics? Do you want to know what data analytics entail?  Do you want to be a consultant for the Green Bay Packers?  The Green Bay East Sports Analytics Club is back for another year. Once again we will be working on a project for the Green Bay Packers.  We will be presenting our results to Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy. If you want to be part of the amazing opportunity, please stop and see Mr. Garay in room 110.

Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) is a club that provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students and their allies to both socialize and organize around issues that matter to them.  We will meet every Wednesday after school in the back of the LMC beginning TODAY.  Please reach out to Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Frank if you have any questions.

Are you someone who is passionate about mental health and cares about your classmates' sense of wellbeing?  Are you creative and open to new ideas about how to make our school feel safe for everyone?  If so, you'd be an amazing addition to SASS, which stands for Suicide Awareness and Student Support.  Please email one of the social workers or come down to Student Services by Friday morning to let us know that you are interested in joining us this year.

Do you like talking to people and finding out what is going on? Do you enjoy writing and secretly desire to see your name in print? Do you want to see what it’s like to be a journalist? Then SCHOOL NEWSPAPER is for you! We need people like YOU to tell the stories of East High. If you are interested, join us for our first informational meeting on Wednesday, September 21st after school in room 306. Email Mrs. Van Ess with any questions.

If you are interested in joining the yearbook please email Ms Blackford @ [email protected] as soon as possible for information on our first meeting and meetings to follow.  If you have previously expressed interest check your email for information from Ms Tobin or Ms Blackford!

Are you looking for a new and exciting club to join this year? Do you like business and marketing? Do you like solving real world problems? Are you looking to beef up your resume? Consider joining DECA at East this year. Our first meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 20 after school in room 224. If you can't make it, stop in room 224 to see Mrs. V any time. See you then!

We at East High School acknowledge that we are located on land and water that is the current and ancestral homeland of the Menominee Indian Nation, the Ho-Chunk Nation and home of the Oneida Nation. We honor and respect the many diverse Indigenous spiritual and physical caretakers of this land who have retained tribal sovereignty, treaty rights, and cultural resilience. We uphold our responsibility to repair relationships, initiate partnerships, and stand with members of these and all First Nations.

Have a great National Live Creative Day and great learning day
