Day 1


Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Picture Retake Day:  The photographer is here and ready to do retakes and take any photos of students who have not had their picture taken by Ambrosius. In order to get a retake you have to have paid $5.00 or you can pay $5.00 at check in this is a change to what was previously put out in the announcements.  Please report to the auditorium after announcements.


Attention FBLA members or those who still want to join FBLA: Our first FBLA meeting is tomorrow at 7am in room 222. We have a full agenda of things to cover so please be on time. Again, our first FBLA meeting is tomorrow at 7am in room 222.


Ladies, if you are interested in playing basketball we will be having open gym Sundays on October 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th @ 6:30pm-8pm. Come get some shots up and have open runs. 

 

GSA will be meeting after school in the LMC.  All students are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions about the club, please see Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Frank.


Didn't get a chance to go to the homecoming football game last week and see the band's halftime show? You can still see it, along with the homecoming shows from West, Southwest, and Preble at the Marching Band Showcase. Saturday, Oct. 8, 1pm, Southwest football field. Admission is FREE. Flyer HERE


Every two seconds, someone needs blood, according to the American Cancer Society.  What better way to meet that need than donating blood!  The East FFA is hosting their annual Fall Blood Drive on Thursday, October 13th, from 8 until 3. If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Jaedyn LaBrec!  Again: Donate blood, October 13th, save all the lives!  Thank you!


Students: While at lunch please stay on the opposite side of the road of Washington Middle School. 

HOSA: Attention all HOSA members and those who are interested in joining HOSA, we will be having a meeting this Thursday after school in room 133.  Please plan to attend if you can.
