Day 1


Good Morning East high school, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Ladies, if you are interested in playing basketball we will be having open gym  Sundays starting October 16th, 23rd & 30th @ 6:30pm-8pm. Come get some shots up and have open runs. 

 

GSA will be meeting after school in the LMC.  All students are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions about the club, please see Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Frank.


Seniors: Your senior photos are due to Ms Blackford by March 3rd!


The average person has ten pints of blood in their body.  Can you spare one pint to donate to someone in need?  The East FFA is hosting their annual Fall Blood Drive on Thursday, October 13th, from 8 until 3. If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Jaedyn LaBrec!  Again: Donate blood, October 13th, save all the lives!  Thank you!


Math Team:  Anyone interested in joining the math team.  We will be having a math meet next Monday (October 17th) at 5:30 pm in the LMC.  If you are interested in signing up, please ask your math teacher or stop and see Mr. Quinn or Mr. Garay


College visits: Thursday, October 13 at 12-UW Milwaukee Friday,October 14 at 9am-Lawrence University in the Career Center


If you are interested in playing Girls or Boys Basketball, there will be a parent & code/expectations meeting Oct 17th @ 7pm in room 309


Congratulations to our newly elected FBLA Exec. Board: In our recent FBLA Elections the following members were elected to serve on the 2022-2023 FBLA Executive Board: Brisset Torres Alvarado - President, Gouled Doualeh - Vice President, Omnia Elsayed - Treasurer. Congratulations to these members for stepping up to provide leadership for our FBLA chapter this year, and thank you also to the other numerous members that ran for office this year.


Music Students: Last day for the Seroogy's and Happy Joe's fundraiser is today! Turn in your orders to a music teacher today or tomorrow morning!


Book Club: Please check your Google Classroom for a survey about our next Book Club book. Also, if you finished A Heart in a Body in the World, please return it this week.

 

Students for Social Justice: Students for Social Justice meets tomorrow after school. Please check Google Classroom for details. See Ms. Ollmann if you have questions.

 

Attention to potential wrestlers! If you are interested in wrestling this year and would like more information about wrestling for Green Bay United, Mr. Van Schyndel will be holding a meeting after school next Wednesday the 19th in room 316.
