10th Annual Silent Night

The 10th annual Silent Night Against Homeless is an event that helps raise awareness and funds to combat homelessness of students in the Green Bay Area. As is tradition, the audience will remain silent until the 10th point is scored to raise awareness for those experiencing homelessness. The annual Silent Night event has raised $50,000 since it started 10 years ago.

This year's event will be on Saturday, January 28th at Green Bay East High School at 1:00 p.m. during the boys and girls basketball games. Events that night will be a silent auction, basket raffles, 50/50 raffles, and a costume contest. Admission to the game is four non-perishable food items that will be donated to the "Eats for East" backpack program. The doors will be open from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for anyone that would like to purchase tickets for the raffle baskets that can not attend the game.

Silent Night is looking for donations from businesses in the form of gift certificates, gift baskets, or cash donations. If you interested in donating to this great cause, please contact Karen Stuebs at [email protected] or Matt VandenHouten at [email protected].
