Day 1


Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


GSA will be meeting after school in the LMC.  All students are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions about the club, please see Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Frank.


Seniors: The cap and gown rep will be here during lunches TOMORROW he will be set up in the cafeteria lobby. Cost is $30.00. 


Attention students: Silent Night is a few weeks away and one part of Silent Night is the wing eating contest against West. We need to put a team together. If you are interested there is a sign up in the Main Office. A few details: We need a 5 person team that can eat 50 Hot wings as fast as possible. Also, grades and attendance count so think of that before you sign up. 

 

Attention Students 16 and over…Do you have blood??  Maybe a little more than you need? You should consider giving some away!! Help save a life by donating blood on Wednesday, January 25th through the Community Blood Center’s blood drive hosted by HOSA.  This blood drive is open to students 16 years old or older.  16 year olds will need parent permission, permission slips are in the office. The blood drive is being held during the school day, and you will receive 2 volunteer hours for donating. Attention FBLA Members: The FBLA meeting for members who are competing at regionals that was originally scheduled for tomorrow morning is postponed until next Tuesday, January 24th. Additional information will be texted to you via the remind.com app.

 

Book Club: Book Club meets today! Bring your lunch and copy of I Must Betray You. Please stop in the library if you need a pass to the cafeteria.
