ASVAB Testing: What is ASVAB testing you ask? It is an Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a multiple-aptitude battery (test) that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. You can now sign up in the Career Center with Ms. Kong to take the ASVAB. This does not commit you to anything, but it can help you figure out your career interests and plans for after graduation. The test helps explore career interests in general. The Test will be February 8, 2023 7:30-11 AM. Last day to sign up is February 6, 2023. If you have any questions see Ms. Kong!
Attention Students 16 and over…Do you have blood?? Maybe a little more than you need? You should consider giving some away!! Help save a life by donating blood on Wednesday, January 25th through the Community Blood Center’s blood drive hosted by HOSA. This blood drive is open to students 16 years old or older. 16 year olds will need parent permission, permission slips are in the office. The blood drive is being held during the school day, and you will receive 2 volunteer hours for donating. Attention NEW Scholars: Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 24, you will stay at East for NEW Scholars programming . You will meet in room 144 . This will be the NEW Scholars location until the end of the school year. Rides should pick you up at East at 5pm.

Due to schedule conflicts, Performance Tech Club will not meet in January but will resume on Monday, February 6th.
Latino Club: Our next meeting will be after school on Thursday, January 26th in room 234. If you were unable to attend our previous meetings but are still interested in being part of Latino Club, please join us! All students are welcome!

Library:It's Monday! That means you have an email from the library if you have an overdue book. Please return or renew overdue books today. All students, there is a new library sign-in system. Have your ID ready to scan to sign in for study hall, lunch, or off campus. Students with IDs go to the front of the sign-in line. The library staff will help if you have questions!
