Day 1


Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Attention all students interested in attending Snowball on Saturday, February 11th: In order to attend you must have at least 50% attendance AND no major/administrator managed referrals from the start of trimester 2 until the dance on the 11th. If you have any questions you can see Mrs. Bleier or Mrs. Lipp.


Congratulations to sophomores Ruby Bielinski and Sophia Lipp for participating in the high school powerlifting meet in Neenah this past Saturday. Ruby lifted a total of 495 pounds and Sophia lifted a total of 630 pounds and qualified for state in March. Way to go lifters!


Yearbook updates: Please get your senior pictures into Ms. Blackford by March 3rd.

Also, still haven’t ordered a yearbook?  You can still purchase a yearbook at yearbookforever.com or in the main office. 


Due to schedule conflicts, Performance Tech Club will not meet in January but will resume on Monday, February 6th.


Attention girls interested in playing soccer this spring:  There will be an informational meeting with our new coach on Wednesday 2/1 @ 3:30 in the career center - room 140.  If you are not able to attend, please stop in the main office or let another player know that you plan to play.  See ya there! 

 

A huge shout out to all the students that came out to Silent Night on Saturday. The event was a success. Congrats to both the girls and boys teams for knocking off the Wildcats. Also congrats to the wing eating team for winning in dominating fashion eating 50 wings in one minute and 35 seconds. 

 

Just a reminder next week is Snoball week so be on the lookout for the dress up days soon. Also the dance is Saturday, February 11th and guest forms are in the attendance office,

 

Library: It's Monday! That means you have an email from the library if you have an overdue book. Please return or renew overdue books today.

All students, there is a new library sign-in system. Have your ID out and ready to scan to sign in for study hall, lunch, or off campus. All students are required to scan their IDs. It's easy! You don't even have to remove the scanner from the stand. It's set up and ready to scan. The library staff will help if you have questions!

 

Sporting Event: Girls Basketball vs Oshkosh North, JV @ 5:45, Varsity @ 7:00. Cost to get in is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students. Pep band will be performing at the basketball game tonight. Band members meet in the band room at 6:00 tonight. Only two more pep band events left for the season.
