Day 1


Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


GSA will be meeting after school in the LMC.  All students are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions about the club, please see Ms. Wetzel or Ms. Frank.


Attention girls interested in playing soccer this spring:  There will be an informational meeting with our new coach on Wednesday 2/1 @ 3:30 in the career center - room 140.  If you are not able to attend, please stop in the main office or let another player know that you plan to play.  See ya there! 


Attention Students interested in Health Related Careers: On Friday, February 10th, we have an opportunity to go to Bellin College and experience a day of hands-on learning. We will spend the day rotating through 7, 30 minute stations in the areas of: Radiology, Physical Therapy, Sonography, Virtual anatomy exploration, Operating Room/sterile technique, Trauma/Emergency Room simulation, Nursing care in a simulated environment. Lunch will be provided during a Q & A session with Bellin College Staff and students. This will be an all day event. If you would like to go please come get permission forms TODAY from Mrs. Enderby in room 133! 

 

Congratulations to the following AVID students:  Brisset Torres-Alvarado,  Kimoria Oliver,  Alejandra Alavez, and Daniel Peaches for being the AVID student of the month for January. These 4 individuals have gone above and beyond during the month of January and have been selected as the AVID student of the month. They have all been excellent role models in the AVID elective class and have also worked incredibly hard outside the classroom. If you see them in class, please congratulate them.

 

Latino Club: Our next meeting will be after school on Thursday, February 2 in room 234. All students are welcome!

Club Latino: Nuestra próxima reunión se llevará a cabo después de la escuela el jueves, 2 de febrero, en el salón 234. ¡Todos los estudiantes están invitados!

 

The next meeting of your Green Bay East FFA is Tuesday, February 7th @ 3:15 in the Agriscience Room 153. Mark-cart is whipping out the flat-top grill & making breakfast sandwiches. Planning our next program & building project are on dock to discuss. All are welcome! Again: FFA meeting, next Tuesday @ 3:15 pm, breakfast sandwiches!
