Day 2

Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Attention Boys:  We are looking for high school boys interested in giving tennis a try.  We will have our organizational meeting Thursday March 16th right after school in room 107.  We have everything you need - rackets, tennis balls, and Nike hoodies and gear.  We have players come out each Spring who have just started and they have a blast.  You can give it a try for a week and if you don't like it, that is OK.  Come to the meeting for information and check us out!  Any questions come see Coach Calo in 107.

PI Day Update: The results are in!  Joseph Kolze will be the lucky student pieing Ms Tobin, Nathaniel Tomac will be pieing Ms Blackford, and Erick Vazquez will be pieing Mr Flynn-Buggs tomorrow in the gym during homebase. Joseph, Nathaniel, and Erick please come see Ms Blackford TODAY for more information.

Hey Students and Teachers: This Friday, March 17th is BEACH DAY!  Yes, we can wear our shorts, t-shirts, beach hats, and shades to school. Let's have fun with this RDP celebration by playing games in the gym or making a craft during lunch hours.  On March 17th show your Red Devil Pride by being a beach bum.

There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in going to Trees for Tomorrow after school TODAY in room 209. If you can't attend the meeting, please contact Mrs. Bulkowski or Mr. Hendricksen

Have you ever wondered what that word Ramadan means on your calendar?  This year Ramadan begins during Spring Break - March 22nd.  TODAY, the MSA Club is holding a Ramadan Review for all students and teachers.  Come and find out more about Ramadan, why Muslims at East high school observe Ramadan, and afterwards enjoy some wonderful Ramadan related foods.  The Ramadan Review is Thursday, March 16th after school in Room 309.  Hope you can make it!
