Day 2

Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box inside the main office from now until April 21st.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart in room 153.

Attention seniors: If you are a senior in good standing and you want to make a lasting impression, please consider auditions for the Class of 2023 Commencement Speech at graduation. This year’s class motto is: “You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” Auditions will be held on Wednesday April 19, at 3:15 in Room 320. Please see either Ms. Amschler or Ms. Imlay for more information or sign up using the Google Form.

Attention Seniors: Are you interested in designing the diploma cover? Please see the flyer for more details. Submission deadline is TODAY to student services.

Attention East 9-11th graders: Do you want to be a part of district level decision making and working with the school board? Then you should run for Intra City Student Council. Intra city student council is a council made up of students from the 5 area high schools and they work with the school district to help make policy changes. If interested, please pick up a form in the main office and return it by Thursday April 13th.

Latino Club: Our next meeting will be after school on Thursday, April 13 in room 234. All students are welcome!

Club Latino: Nuestra próxima reunión se llevará a cabo el jueves, 13 de abril, en el salón 234. ¡Todos los estudiantes están invitados!

Day of Silence is a national movement where students take a pledge of silence for the school day to highlight the oppression of queer and trans people that unfortunately persists today.  If you would like to participate in Day of Silence tomorrow, please stop in Student Services today to sign up.

Junior Prom tickets are ON SALE NOW!!!!  Today after school AND tomorrow morning before school tickets will be available in the Main Office lobby. $20 per ticket! Get yours today!! BEWARE....Ticket prices increase to $30/each AFTER 7:30 am Friday morning. Don't delay!

Attention freshmen:  Link Crew has some cookies and supplies left over from yesterday’s cookie decoration. If you would like to stop up to room 301 after school today to make a cookie or two, we’d love to have you. Again, this is open to all freshmen, today after school in room 301.

Attention 10th and 11th graders:  Link Crew is looking for future leaders who want to give back to the East community, build leadership skills, and earn service hours by working with next year’s freshmen.  If any 10th or 11th graders are interested in becoming Leaders for next school year, please click the link in the virtual announcements, check out the signs posted throughout the building, or see Mrs. Baumann in room 301.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a great National Scrabble Day and a great learning day!
