Day 2

Good Morning East High School, it is a great day to be a Red Devil and these are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Parking Passes: Students this is a reminder that if you have a parking pass you need to turn them in by the end of the day on June 8th. All passes not returned will result in a $10.00 charge.

Root Beer Floats: Has the warm weather been getting to you? If so, the sophomore class will be selling root beer and orange cream floats in the cafe lobby during lunch hours today while supplies last. Stop down to cool off!

Our 31st annual Green Bay East fishing tournament will be held on June 3, 2023. This is the Wisconsin DNR Free Fishing weekend so you don’t need a fishing license to come and fish. We will be meeting by the footbridge in the school parking lot and fishing from 8 - 11 am. All current students and staff are welcome to attend. Prizes awarded for largest, smallest, and most fish caught. There will be extra equipment available for those who don’t own any. Please sign up with Mr. Fisk, [email protected], or stop by room 227 if you have any questions.

Fall Musical Theatre: Hey East High Students - we want you to be a part of the show!  Matilda, the Musical is a fantastic story, with high-energy dance numbers, catchy music, and awesome technical special effects. Sign up now to be a part of the cast, pit orchestra or tech teams. Details and more information is available through this link - Matilda Info Link and copies of the sign up are available in room 117. Email Mrs. Tjoflat with questions. [email protected].    Matilda Cast Auditions are next week, June 5, 6, 7!

Mr. Garay and Mrs. McGrath would like to congratulate all graduating members of the National Honor Society.  We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our graduating officers.  President Sarielys Garcia Colon, Vice President Jaedyn La Brec, Treasurer Brisset Torres-Alvarado and Historian Yoana Ruelas Gomez.  We are grateful for your time, hard work and dedication you put into making our chapter the best it could be.  We will miss you.

Attention all students who will be in co-curriculars in the fall (musical and sports) - there will be a MANDATORY parent/student Code of Conduct meeting on Monday, June 5th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium. See you there!

It's finals time again!  Once again Link Crew and NHS will sponsor a study-a-thon on Monday, June 5th and Tuesday, June 6th from 3 pm to 5 pm in room 309. Snacks will be provided!

Word of the Day: Gist, noun, always appears in the phrase  “the gist,”  refers to the general or basic meaning of something written or said - in other words, its essence.

These have been your morning announcements

Have a great National Say Something Nice Day and a great learning day.
