Day 2

Good morning, East High School... Be respectful, be dependable, be prepared, and remember, it is a great day to be a Red Devil. These are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The Green Bay East Student Council is holding a priority food drive for the Eats for East Pantry. What does that mean? Well, our pantry is in need of certain items at this time and the Student Council will give you a chance to win gift cards to local businesses if you bring in those specific items. Here's how: look at the list of Priority Items and bring the items to the main office before school December 11-15 and you will receive a raffle ticket for each priority item you bring in. We will accept all non-perishable items, but raffle tickets will be given for priority items.

Hey! Do you like to talk? Or are you thinking about talking more? Then Forensics is for you! The Forensics season is upon us so we will be having our first meeting next Thursday, December 14th after school in Room 133. If you can't make it, there will be another one Friday, December 15th before school at 7am- also in Room 133. Please see Mrs.Christopherson for any questions.

Are you passionate about arguing? Do you love to prove that you are right? Do you want to put another club on your college application? Then join the East High Schools Debate Team! We need students like you who are invested in their future. Anybody from every skill level is welcome! If you’re interested, please join us for a meeting every Wednesday morning at 7:00 am. The meeting will be held in Room 314.

Hey Yearbook Club - Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 13th at 3:10pm. We will be meeting in Mr. Buss's Art room, room 113. We have our first deadline coming up. Our cover for the yearbook needs to be complete by January 15. At this meeting we will need to work together to decide on a theme, start coming up with ideas for the cover, and make a plan to get it created. We need all the creative brain power we can get, so please make sure to attend this meeting if you want to have input on the theme that will carry through our entire yearbook and the cover. Again, Yearbook meeting on Wednesday the 13th in room 113. See you there!

Latino Club will be meeting this Wednesday at 3pm in room 234. See you there.
