Day 2

Good morning, East High School... Be respectful, be dependable, be prepared, and remember, it is a great day to be a Red Devil. These are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Attention East High School: Do you want to send your friends a personalized gift for the holidays? Buy a Candy Cane Gram! The Dancing Devils are selling personalized Candy Cane Grams. Each Candy Cane Gram has a personalized pouch with your desired name on it, along with 3 candy canes, and a message to your friend! Candy Cane Grams are $5.00. If you would like to purchase one and see an example of one of the pouches, find one of the Dancing Devils team members or Mr.Esrom! The final day to purchase a Candy Cane Gram will be next Wednesday, Dec.20th, 2023. Happy Holidays!

The Green Bay East Student Council is holding a priority food drive for the Eats for East Pantry. What does that mean? Well, our pantry is in need of certain items at this time and the Student Council will give you a chance to win gift cards to local businesses if you bring in those specific items. Here's how: look at the list of Priority Items and bring the items to the main office before school December 11-15 and you will receive a raffle ticket for each priority item you bring in. We will accept all non-perishable items, but raffle tickets will be given for priority items.

Library reminders: If you are failing a class, you are welcome to come to the library to study or finish work. You need a pink pass or Smart Pass from that teacher. Check your Infinite Campus daily. In the library, there is no food allowed; also, please no swearing. You can feed your mind with words and ideas. Start reading, you will be hungry for more books.

Hey music students! Final reminder: If you sold fruit for the music department fundraiser, it will be here TODAY! See you at door 9 between 3 and 5 today. Have a plan for delivering to your customers.

Vocal Jazz Ensemble: Practice today 3:15-4:15 for Vocal Jazz!

Just a reminder that there will be a SASS meeting tomorrow, Friday, December 15th at 8:30 am in the Career Center. Watch for Smart Passes coming out, and we will see you tomorrow!

Hey! Do you like to talk? Or are you thinking about talking more? Then Forensics is for you! The Forensics season is upon us so we will be having our first meeting next Thursday, December 14th after school in Room 133. If you can't make it, there will be another one Friday, December 15th before school at 7am- also in Room 133. Please see Mrs.Christopherson for any questions.

Girls interested in participating in Girls Soccer in the Spring, we will have a meeting on Tuesday, December 19th in Room 309 at 3:15pm. All are welcome and encouraged no matter the experience or skill level.

Save the date: after school Thursday, January fourth for Apps with Apps night! Come to work on applications, either for FFA, college, or other scholarships, all while eating appetizers! Again: Thursday, January fourth, after school, room one fifty-three.

Hey students, check your email about dress up days. Monday is holiday pajama or pajama day! The complete list is linked in announcements

Attention Gamers! The NERDs will be meeting after school today in 201. Smash Brothers, Board Games, and Magic the Gathering will be played. Hope to see you there!

Word of the Day: Genial, adjective- cheerful and pleasant; a thing described as genial suggests or expresses friendliness and cheer

These have been your morning announcements.

Have a kindhearted More Good Today Day and a great learning day!
