Day 1

Good morning, East High School... Be respectful, be dependable, be prepared, and remember, it is a great day to be a Red Devil. These are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Apps with Apps! Got that scholarship you have been meaning to get done? Come join the Green Bay East FFA on Thursday, January fourth in room one fifty-three for the Apps with Apps night! Fill out all of your needed applications while having fun and eating appetizers! Again, January fourth, after school, room one fifty-three.

Yearbook Club will be meeting tonight after school in art room 113 at 3:15pm. We will be finalizing plans for a theme and a cover design – please make sure to attend this meeting! If you are unable to attend, make sure your ideas have been added to the planning document for the group to consider. Again, Yearbook Club will be meeting tonight at 3:15pm in room 113.

Attention FBLA Members- There is a meeting tomorrow morning at 7am in room 222 for all FBLA members who are competing at Regionals. If you are competing at regionals you need to attend this meeting. If you are not competing at regionals you do not need to attend.

Library- East scholars, please check IC, so you know your grades in each class. Beginning tomorrow, a pink pass or Smart Pass is needed from the class that you are not passing. You are welcome to be in the library to complete homework or study for tests. See Ms. Ollmann if you have questions.

New readers are welcome to join Book Club! We still have copies of What Beauty There Is left to check out. This action-packed story set in a wintery Idaho woods will hook your attention on page one and leave you wondering how Jack and his brother will survive with little money and no family. Book Club meets on January 17.

We, the members of the Green Bay Area Public School District, recognize and honor the original inhabitants of Northeast Wisconsin. Our district lives, works and learns upon the ancestral homelands of the Menominee and Ho-Chunk Nations, and the current homeland of Oneida Nation. We acknowledge the 12 diverse and vibrant Wisconsin First Nations, who have persevered here since before recorded time, and continue to be integral parts of our community. We uphold our responsibility to repair relationships, initiate partnerships, and stand with all First Nations communities.
