Day 2


Good morning, East High School... Be respectful, be dependable, be prepared, and remember, it is a great day to be a Red Devil. These are your morning announcements. Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. 


I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.


Dinner and ACT Prep for Juniors- To help prepare for the ACT in March, Juniors are invited to participate in optional practice sessions in the cafeteria after the dinner program. The second session is being held today from 3:15-4:00 pm. If you have any questions about this, contact Mrs. Bleier.

 

RDP Champions of the Week are classes nominated by their teachers for meeting Red Devil Pride expectations. Our winners this week are: Ms. Jensen's 5th period Literacy Extension class and Mr. Riesterer's 1st period Geometry class. Treats will be coming your way this week. Way to Go Red Devils!!

 

Vocal Jazz Ensemble: Practice today, 3:15 - 4:30 in the choir room.  Please bring your music & folder!

 

Study-A-Thon: To help you prepare for final exams, Link Crew and NHS will once again sponsor a study-a-thon next week Monday, February 26 and Tuesday, February 27 from 3pm to 5pm in room 309. Snacks will be provided!


Hey! It’s National FFA Week! In celebration, trivia questions on the FFA organization will be announced.  Answers to the trivia questions can be dropped off at the main office or library.  One daily winner will be selected to win either a free drink of their choice or two free cookies from our school store!!  Yesterday’s winner was Sophia Wozniak, for correctly answering, “National Blue and Corn Gold” as the National FFA colors. Claim your free drink coupon in rm. one fifty three by the end of the day!  Here’s today’s question: When was the FFA Organization established? A. 2001, B. 2018, C. 1928, or D. 1814.  Again: trivia, office & library, prize beyond your wildest dreams!
