Attention Seniors: The graduation program cover design contest is underway. The winner gets a free graduation cap and gown. The front cover design only should measure 7” wide by 8.5” high. Designs that wrap around the front and back of the cover should measure 14” wide by 8.5” high. Designs should be either high-contrast, hand-drawn illustrations or computer-generated in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Designs are due TODAY to student services. See this flyer for details.


Softball: Any girls interested in playing softball this spring should contact Coach Craig at [email protected]. Please email him for more information ASAP. Season starts April 19. 


Worried about COVID-19 safety while donating blood?  The student helpers & Community Blood Center staff follow strict safety plans set by our school district & the state health department.  With that peace of mind, the East FFA invites you to their annual Spring Blood Drive on two days: Tuesday, April 20 & Thursday, April 22, from 9:30 - 1.  If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Brandi Babik!  Again: Donate blood, April 20th or 22nd, save all the lives!  Thank you!


All boys sitting on your duffs and doing nothing this spring attention!  The boys golf team wants you!  No experience necessary, we'll equip and teach you how to play.  You can even play if you are in another spring sport such as football or soccer!  All interested golfers should see Mr. Reiman in 221 or email him at [email protected] today!  The season starts April 19th.  Don't delay, sign up for golf today!

 

Musical:  Student scripts and music needs to be collected from our production of Leader of the Pack: the Ellie Greenwich Musical. Drop off box is available in the choir room, or you may deliver to the office by May 6th, please.  Be sure your name is on your script and music so we can mark you off the list! Unreturned materials are billed $25.00 for replacement.  Virtual students may drop off on Wednesday, or contact Mrs. Tjoflat for another option.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main entrance from now until the end of April.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart. 

 

There will be a short REQUIRED meeting for all students scheduled to be in the Business Senior Internship program for the 2021-2022 school year this Thursday, April 15th from 3:00 to 3:30pm. The meeting will take place in room 222 and in a Zoom meeting room for those not attending classes in person. Please check your school email for a calendar invitation from Mr. Christy. If you did not receive the invitation contact Mr. Christy ASAP.

 

BOYS TENNIS:  ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION! There is a meeting on Monday April 19th for any boys interested in playing tennis. The meeting is right after school in room 107.  We are in need of players.  We can work around any work schedule or other sports you may be in.  We hope you will give tennis a try.  If you come out and don't like it that is OK.  We have a tennis racket and balls and UnderArmor hoodies for you!  Please Consider coming to room 107 on Monday after school to hear more about it, you will be glad that you did. 

 

A big shout out to varsity tennis players, Libby Neumeyer, Matiasse Kambandu-Schilz, Kyra Brosig, and Anna Snudden. At subsectionals Monday, Kyra took the first set from Pulaski and forced a match tiebreaker. Matiasse notched a comeback win in the first round. Libby and Anna won out and advanced to sectionals on Thursday. All players have made great progress during the season. The Future Business Leaders of America State Competition wrapped up on Monday, April 12 and the EHS FBLA winning tradition continues! East FBLA qualified 4 students for FBLA Nationals this summer, which would have been in Anaheim, CA, but will be virtual this year instead. National Qualifiers include: Aaron Fisk and Jackson Heller - 2nd place in E-business, Sydney Bonlander - 1st place in Word Processing, Riley Wittig - 1st place in Website Development, Kai Heverly earned honorable mention for his 5th place finish in the Introduction to Info. Tech. event, and is an alternate for the WI FBLA national team delegation. Congratulations EHS FBLA! We're really proud of you all!
