Musical:  Student scripts and music needs to be collected from our production of Leader of the Pack: the Ellie Greenwich Musical. Drop off box is available in the choir room, or you may deliver to the office by May 6th, please.  Be sure your name is on your script and music so we can mark you off the list! Unreturned materials are billed $25.00 for replacement.  Virtual students may drop off on Wednesday, or contact Mrs. Tjoflat for another option.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main entrance from now until the end of April.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart.

Seniors: If you are wanting to adorn your graduation attire it must be approval from the principals. Please come to the main office to pick up a form.

Girls Soccer: We are looking for girls interested in playing soccer if you have played before or you are new we need you. Practice will begin on Monday. Sign up online and get your physical to the main office.

April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month.  Autism is Persistent differences in communication, interpersonal relationships, and social interaction across different environments.

Attention any students interested in attending athletic events...now that we are back in school, students are allowed to attend games.  Please bring your student ID to sign up  and bring it to the game.  If you do not have an ID they are $5.00 in the main office.  For the football game on Friday night, there will be a sign up in the main office for 50 students.  All students must sign up to attend football games ahead of time.  Underclassmen can now sign up in the office.  Hope to see you there!

A big thank you to all the donors who gave blood this past Tuesday & Thursday.  Like GME stock, we took our pint goal to the moon, blasting past our benchmark of twenty-one & landed thirty-seven total pints!  That’s a possible one-hundred & eleven lives saved through the life-giving blood rallied by our Green Bay East students & staff.  If you see some of the blood drive helpers or your Green Bay East FFA Blood Drive coordinator, Brandi Babik (Baa-bic), tell them “You rock!”  We look forward to your continual donations this coming school year.

Today is the National Day of Silence, where students across the country come together to use their silence to highlight the harassment and oppression that LGBTQ+ people face on an alarmingly regular basis.  At this time we will have a minute of silence to recognize this injustice. [ONE MINUTE OF SILENCE] The sixth, and final color of the Pride flag is purple, which symbolizes spirit and reminds us of the resilience of queer students and the importance of being good allies to one another.  Thank you for your participation today.  If you want to find out more about how to support the LGBTQ+ community, please reach out to East’s GSA advisors: Mrs. Amschler and Ms. Wetzel.

Word of the Day: Gazette, noun, a paper that is printed and distributed usually daily or weekly and that contains news, articles of opinion, features, and advertising; newspaper, an official journal
