Musical:  Student scripts and music needs to be collected from our production of Leader of the Pack: the Ellie Greenwich Musical. Drop off box is available in the choir room, or you may deliver to the office by May 6th, please.  Be sure your name is on your script and music so we can mark you off the list! Unreturned materials are billed $25.00 for replacement.  Virtual students may drop off on Wednesday, or contact Mrs. Tjoflat for another option.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main entrance from now until the end of April.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart.

Calling all visual artists!  A very unique summer school course in Scenic Painting is offered this year!  Taught by professional Kaitlin Younger, this course will cover topics from color theory to large scale drawing and other special techniques.  A large scale collaborative painting project will be worked on at the end of the course.  The course runs from July 19 to August 13th from 12:30-3:00pm at East High.  Sign up ends May 7th so see your guidance counselor to sign up!  Don’t wait!  This is going to be great!

Attention Seniors: Congratulations to the four students who did the Class of 2021 proud by auditioning to give this year's commencement address. Every speaker gave a moving, well-crafted speech, making it tough for the judges to choose just two. So now, please extend your heartiest congratulations to the two speakers who were ultimately chosen to give their speeches at Graduation.  They are... drumroll, please....  Leah Maitland and Brooke Mueller!  Special thanks to this year's judges:  Ms. Altman, Ms. Imlay, Ms. Sutter, and Mr. VandenHouten.

Thousands of music students statewide who prepared to perform vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles are participating in the Wisconsin School Music Association Virtual Solo & Ensemble Festival. Congratulations to the following East students for entering this virtual solo festival: Maddie Eckberg, Maggie Lutz, Luis Gaytan, Sarah Staeven, Max Homme, Jonah Mizorek, Olivia Hungerford, David Ayala, Maria Agredano Sanchez, Claudia Schwiesow, Anna Lersch, and Maddux Lunde. Claudia, Anna, and Maddux have earned the right to advance to the state virtual solo festival. Their state solo videos will be due Thursday, May 6th.

GSA will meet both virtually and in-person in Room 301 today after school!  If you have not been to a meeting yet this year and would like the Zoom link, please email Mrs. Amschler or Ms. Wetzel.  All students are welcome to attend, regardless of identity.
