Calling all visual artists! A very unique summer school course in Scenic Painting is offered this year! Taught by professional Kaitlin Younger, this course will cover topics from color theory to large scale drawing and other special techniques. A large scale collaborative painting project will be worked on at the end of the course. The course runs from July 19 to August 13th from 12:30-3:00pm at East High. Sign up ends May 7th so see your guidance counselor to sign up! Don’t wait! This is going to be great!
Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home? Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East! Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main entrance from now until the end of April. Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing. If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free! Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart.

April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month. People are born with autism. They look like you and me but their brains work in a unique way.
Did you know that patients with diseases like leukemia and lymphoma who are in need of a bone marrow transplant match with their family members only 30% of the time? You could be a part of the 70% that saves a patient's life. Since the start of their organization in 1986, Be The Match has saved countless lives. Last year, Be The Match provided over 106,000 stem cell and bone marrow transplants to patients, giving them hope for their futures. None of this could happen without the generosity of their donors.
