You may say, “But I’m afraid of needles,” but all it takes is a relaxing distraction like listening to music or checking Instagram to forget the quick poke in donating blood.  The East FFA invites you to their annual Spring Blood Drive on two days: Tuesday, April 20 & Thursday, April 22, from 9:30 - 1.  If you are age 17 or 16 with parent’s consent, sign up for a time by going to: www.bit.ly/eastblood and type the sponsor code “OT134”  If you have any questions, please contact your blood drive coordinator, Brandi Babik!  Again: Donate blood, April 20th or 22nd, save all the lives!  Thank you!

All boys sitting on your duffs and doing nothing this spring attention!  The boys golf team wants you!  No experience necessary, we'll equip and teach you how to play.  You can even play if you are in another spring sport such as football or soccer!  All interested golfers should see Mr. Reiman in 221 or email him at [email protected] today!  The season starts April 19th.  Don't delay, sign up for golf today!"

Track & Field: The Track & Field Season starts April 19th.  If you have any interest in participating in track & field stop by Coach Butters in room 203 to sign up or send him an email.  Track and field is mainly based around developing strength and speed so even if you aren’t a big fan of running come see what it’s all about.  It is a great sport to compete individually and as a part of a team.  This is the absolute best sport for you if you want to get in shape for other sports you are involved in.  Even if you are out for a fall sport sign up, we will figure out scheduling.

The Green Bay United Girls Lacrosse Team is starting the Spring Lacrosse season April 12th. Practice will be held 4:30 to 6:30 at Southwest High School

Musical:  Student scripts and music needs to be collected from our production of Leader of the Pack: the Ellie Greenwich Musical. Drop off box is available in the choir room, or you may deliver to the office by May 6th, please.  Be sure your name is on your script and music so we can mark you off the list! Unreturned materials are billed $25.00 for replacement.  Virtual students may drop off on Wednesday, or contact Mrs. Tjoflat for another option.

Do you have old, broken, or dead electronics at home?  Consider the environment, skip throwing it in the landfill, & bring them to East!  Your Green Bay East FFA has an Electronics Recycling Box outside the main entrance from now until the end of April.  Consider this for next Spring, too - we hope to make this an annual, every year thing.  If your electronic is on the poster list, we’ll recycle it for free!  Questions can be directed to Mr. Mark-cart.

Hey Boys do you like to smash things?  Do you like playing games? Do you like Under Armor gear?  Do you want to try something new and have fun?  Then TENNIS is for you.  We will be starting our season May 3rd and it will run until the end of the school year.  You don't even need a racquet, we will provide that for you. Most of our players just started tennis so you will fit right in.  If you want to try it, email Coach Calo or stop in and see him in Room 107.  More information on a meeting is coming

April is Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month- Did you know About 1 in 54 U.S. children have an autism diagnosis?  It is more common than you would think.
