East's Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA) meets on Thursday at 3:15.  GSA is open to any East students who identify as LGBTQIA+ or allies.  If you would like to check it out, please email Ms. Wetzel ([email protected]) or Mrs. Amschler ([email protected]) for the meeting link.


Graduation Announcement information: Seniors starting on November 1st - December 31st, you can start ordering your Graduation announcements see this brochure. Information on cap and gown ordering will come out in January.

Attention East staff and students: The Green Bay East Student Council will be having a drive by canned food drive for the Eats for East Pantry. Please consider donating to help some of the families at East that are struggling. The drop off days are December 16 and 17 from 3-5PM in front of school. The pantry will accept any non-perishable donation but really need certain items. Please refer to the list in the announcements 


Attention all East Students: The second Red Devil RandomTrivia Contest is scheduled for Friday, December 18th at 3:30 PM. You do not need to be a genius for this as it is totally random. This one will have a section on various movies of the season. We once again will have prizes to give away! Sign up at the link provided here by Wednesday December 16th (today). Hope to see you there. A Zoom link will be shared with you and you can enter at 3:15PM that day.

GEAR UP is accepting applications for students in grades 6-12 at Edison, Washington, West, East, Preble and Southwest.  GEAR UP is a college readiness program with a scholarship component.  They have a strong STEM focus.  Please see the website for more information if you are interested.

 

The East High National Honor Society will be providing tutoring on Wednesdays from 9:15-10:00 am starting this Wednesday, December 16th. Any student needing academic help can log in using the following link.

Dress up days: Students this is a reminder if you choose to participate in the dress up days please take photos of yourself for the yearbook. Please send them to Ms. Altman at [email protected]

 

East High is raising the bar for reading with the use of an online resource called Beanstack: Beanstack is like a “Fitbit for Reading” where you can record what you are reading and also write book reviews. For the month of December, we invite you to be part of the Read Grateful challenge. Everyone who logs reading time and writes a review will be entered in the Library Contest. Your name is entered for each review you write! There will be three winners. Prizes include books, chocolate and gift cards for Starbucks and Subway. Find Beanstack on Launchpad or download the app for your phone. Email Ms. Ollmann if you have questions. 

 

Every Wednesday from 10 AM-5 PM, you can stop at the main entrance of East High to pick up materials or get technology help. If you haven't picked up your Tri 2 materials, please plan on stopping at East today.
